What is the difference between registered capital and total investment? What do those concepts mean?

Answer:

"Registered Capital" refers to the aggregate amount of capital registered in the commercial & industrial, administration authorities for enterprise establishment, which is the total sum of capital the investors subscribe to contribute and constitutes a basis for investors to bear risks and share profits of the enterprise. “Total Investment” refers to the total comprising of basic construction capital and production current capital to realize the production scale set forth in the enterprise contract and charter. Besides “Registered Capital”, “Total Investment” still contains the borrowed capital.
